Year of Rooster Celebration

2pm Jan 28th, 2017 at Aberdeen Centre Richmond

On January 28th (the first day in the lunar calendar year) at 2PM, BC Chinese Orchestra will be performing a series of joyous pieces in Aberdeen Centre to celebrate Chinese New Year. The three floorplan of Aberdeen Centre gives the audience a panoramic view of the performance.

The orchestra consists of more than 60 people from both BC Chinese Orchestra as well as BC Youth Chinese Orchestra. The concert is an hour long, and is comprised of many classical Chinese folk songs, including “Stepping Higher”, and “Dance of the Golden Snake”. Through these cheerful songs, BCCMA would like to wish everyone a happy, harmonious year.
